From The Editors

Happy New Year! We hope 2018 was kind to you and 2019 will be even kinder. In our New Year edition, we look back and reflect on what 2018 looked like for Ethiopia. We also ask whether Ethiopia’s relationship with international finance institution is getting more unfair. In our tech section, we investigate the unequal development and attention between hardware and software in Ethiopia. This and much more. We wish you a year of happiness, fulfilment, and success. Happy Reading!
